AUGUSTUS PETERS
Augustus Peters Steelpans (APS) has been in operation since 2008 and is currently one of the most sought after businesses for high quality steelpans throughout the pan community across the globe. Its founder, Augustus Peters, has made and tuned instruments for many steel bands in Trinidad & Tobago such as Trinidad All Stars, Phase II Pan Groove, Starlift, Silver Stars, Pamberi and Potential Symphony to name a few. Internationally, Augustus has tuned pans for Mangrove (UK) - winner of the UK Panorama 2019 and Pan Evolution - 3rd place in the 2019 NY Panorama. One of the most notable achievements for APS is having made and tuned the steelpans for winning band Uptown Fascinators, making it the first time a band from Tobago won the Small Band category in the Trinidad Panorama competition in 2020. Augustus or 'Gutsy', as he's called in pan circles, has also created tenor and double seconds pans for a number of top-tier, professional soloists in Trinidad & Tobago, North America and Europe, so make sure to contact Augustus Peters Steelpans to place an order for your specialist instrument. We'll be willing and ready to serve you.
