Norfolk NATO Festival is the longest continuously running Festival in the Hampton Roads region, and the only one of its kind in the United States which honors the NATO Alliance and its member nations.

Headquarters, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQSACT) is one of only two NATO commands in North America and the only permanent NATO headquarters outside of Europe.

Joint Force Command Norfolk is one of many tangible results of NATO’s adaptation to the evolving security environment with 16 allies signing the Memorandum of Understanding for its establishment, and Full Operational Capability declared in July, 2021. The command is headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia and is the only operational NATO command in the United States.
